About Sonia Miró
Sonia Miró is a singer-songwriter/performer based in Eagle, Idaho. She was brought up in a very musical family in Southern California and her parents exposed her to a wide variety of music as a child. She started on the piano at age 5, and taught herself to play guitar at 11 years old.
Sonia has been influenced by numerous artists from classic rock, country, jazz, folk, classical, and contemporary Christian. These iconic influences have found their way into her musical repertoire bringing her fans a nostalgic feeling of simpler times.
Before relocating to Eagle in 2024, Sonia performed for over 20 years at many public and private venues around North County San Diego including Le Papagayo, WildWood Crossings (now Restaurant Rancho El Agave), Domaine Artefact Winery, Coomber’s Craft Wines, The Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, Roxy’s Encinitas, The Canyons at The Crossings Golf Club, The Beach House in Cardiff, Robbie's Roadhouse, and Mission Avenue Bar and Grille.
She has also performed with the Scott Wesley Brown Band, The Wingtips, Allison Adams Tucker, and the Johnny C. Band. In addition, she was a member of several contemporary Christian bands around San Diego. Her genre of music spans across classic rock, folk and country, including songs from the Eagles, Beatles, James Taylor, America, Jim Croce, Joan Baez, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Joni Mitchell, Bread, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and Stevie Nicks, just to name a few.
With a growing fan base, Sonia performs as a solo musician at private parties, weddings, wineries and restaurants and is open for new bookings. She has been seen at Eagle venues including The Preserve Community, has made her Idaho debut at Old State Saloon and is looking forward to many more local events!
Sonia continues to write and perform simple songs about the things she loves —family, home, and Heaven. These songs bring a sense of comfort and togetherness, and her sense of humor and fun personality shines through as a well-rounded entertainer. You'll want to sing along or tap your foot to the beat, even if you've never heard the song before!
